The seminar was led by Consultants from Bradford Teaching Hospitals, and covered the current situation, displaying a clear lack of organs being donated amongst the group of people requiring them the most, members of the BAME community.
On 28th December 2017, the MWC held an event titled “Glitz & Glamour Night”. This event was a ladies only event and consisted of a three course meal provided by MyLahores, a performance delivered by Shabnam Khan, and a number of stalls selling a variety of products.
The Daughters of Eve conference 2017 was held in the heart of Bradford at the Mercure, Bankfield Hotel. Over 250 women from across the UK including Glasgow, Wales, Leicester, Doncaster, Halifax, Rotherham, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Blackburn, Manchester and London attended the conference alongside a delegation from Germany.
