We organise guided walks across Bradford and the Yorkshire Dales for Muslim women and girls, giving participants the chance to experience the beauty of nature while learning about their environmental responsibilities and the spiritual significance of connecting with the earth.
Our walks take us to places such as Ogden Water, Roberts Park, Northcliffe Park, Grassington, Ingleborough, Embsay Crag and Pen-y-ghent, where we explore a variety of landscapes including hills, forests, rivers and lakes.
We work in partnership with Due North Events to discuss how nature shapes our lives and how our choices impact the environment, drawing on Islamic scripture and tradition to deepen reflection. We also connect participants with local climate action groups and organisations to support ongoing environmental engagement.
