On 28th September 2015, the Muslim Women’s Council held an event titled “Mental Health from an Islamic Perspective”.

Daughters of Eve held in May 2015 was entitled ‘Human Rights, Human Wrongs: Muslim Women creating a new narrative’.

This women-only workshop was an interactive demonstration, lead by Hawa Apa, who is a teacher at a local mosque in Bradford and has experience in the burial process.
