Women’s Mosque Consultation & Ramadan Seminar

On 14th June 2015, the Muslim Women’s Council held an event titled “Women’s Mosque Consultation & Ramadan Seminar”. The event consisted of a dinner, a consultation on our proposal for a women-led place of worship and centre of excellence, followed by a seminar and Q&A on Ramadan.

Sessions were led by Dr Sharuq Naguib, lecturer in Islamic Studies at Lancaster University, and co-chair of the British Association of Islamic Studies, Dilwar Hussain, founder and chair of New Horizons in British Islam, and Imam Qari Muhammad Asim, Imam at award-winning mosque, Makkah Masjid.
