Mental Health from an Islamic Perspective

On 28th September 2015, the Muslim Women’s Council held an event titled “Mental Health from an Islamic Perspective”. The event consisted of a Q&A session and a discussion on Hijama (Cupping), Ruqya (Quranic Recitation) and Sihr (Black Magic).The event was led by Umm Sakina, a mental health counsellor and Hijama expert.

There were over 100 attendees and this infographic is derived from the evaluation forms collected on the day.
