This project aims at raising awareness within Muslim communities about the need for urgent action on climate change and for a spiritual revival and effort for greater dialogue on this contemporary issue.
The project is aimed at placing Muslim women’s lived experiences at the heart of policy and practice, so that it reflects them and their views and needs.
Al Asma Al Husna is a series of new Light installations that combines Arabic calligraphy and Neon lighting to share the Islamic Heritage (the 99 Beautiful Names of God/Allah)
The two day national residential conference was the first of its kind in Bradford. The event took place at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Bradford in May 2011, bringing together women from across the UK.
We believe women are an effective force for social change and critical to the current debate taking place about the role/place of Muslims in British society.
