Members of the Muslim Women’s Council team were honoured to attend a gathering outside Bradford City Hall to celebrate the Bishop of Bradford, Toby Howarth, following his appointment as Bishop of Leeds.
We have always valued Bishop Toby’s friendship, kind support and commitment to community work. He has been a keen supporter of our work, including the Curry Circle hot food initiative and our annual Daughters of Eve Conference.
To mark the occasion, we presented Bishop Toby with a commemorative photograph from our Great Big Iftar event in 2017. The photograph truly captures our relationship and reflects how much Bishop Toby means to the Bradford community.
We wish Bishop Toby every success in his new role and look forward to continuing our important community and interfaith work together.
