Young Muslim Women Speak: Drugs, Faith and Safeguarding

After multiple brainstorming sessions and careful consideration of the community’s urgent concerns and extensive research, the Muslim Women’s Council Think Tank programme is publishing its first report.

Instead of being spoken about, Muslim women are now making their voices heard and are telling their stories by themselves.

After completing the  training programme, the Think Tank participants formed four smaller community research teams, conducting over 200 interviews in total.

Drug related activities have been identified as an epidemic spreading within the community. The research team Muslim women who worked on this study  🔗 Young Muslim Women Speak: Drugs, Faith and Safeguarding, contacted 50 young Muslim women aged between 16 and 21 to carry out interviews.

We are proud to present the first of four cogent and timely studies on community-based issues.
