As an organisation dedicated to empowering women, this year we are raising funds for Islamic Relief’s Palestine Maternity Project. This vital initiative provides maternal care—including birthing services, postnatal medical kits, and hygiene packs—at As Sahaba Hospital in Gaza City and Khair Hospital in Khan Younis.
Last Ramadan, thanks to your incredible generosity, we delivered 3,000 hygiene packs into Gaza. This year, we turn to you once again to support our Palestinian sisters.
The Quran highlights the struggles of mothers, especially during childbirth:
“And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years…” (Quran 31:14)
This Ramadan, let’s stand with our sisters in Gaza and Khan Younis. By supporting them in their journey to motherhood, you will be helping the protectors of the Blessed Lands in their most honourable time.
