High Tea Event
Islamic Relief UK, with the support of Muslim Women’s Council (MWC), hosted a free High Tea event during the United Nations ‘16 Days of Activism’. This event took place on Friday 7th December 2018 between 6pm and 8pm in the Main Hall at Carlisle Business Centre, Bradford, BD8 8BD. The ‘16 Days of Activism’ period sees thousands of people across the globe taking action against all forms of violence against women and girls. Over 100 attendees, from all backgrounds, enjoyed an early evening of High Tea, prayer, and discussion with a group of panellists on the subject of Gender Based Violence.
