What are the common misconceptions? How should we engage and interact with this subject?
The session will be led by Ahtsham Ali (Muslim Adviser to His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service) & Dr Shuruq Naguib (Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Lancaster University).
Ahtsham will be talking about the opinion of the Abrahamic religions and the Islamic perspectives from the Quran and Sunnah.
Shuruq will be talking about navigating difficult questions about gender and its politics in contemporary society.
The seminar is open to women only, tickets must be pre-booked and are just £10 per person for the session including Dinner.
