A YouGov study completed in 2015 found that 1 in 5 British adults have had an affair. These figures had not been broken down to identify whether these individuals were married or in long-term relationships, or their religion and ethnic background. However, it is clear that cheating is prevalent within relationships.
This questionnaire invites Muslim women to share either their own experience or someone else’s (e.g family member or friend) experience of infidelity in marriage. The questions ask about your/their experience. If you wish, you can specify whose experience it is. Please be honest in your answers in order to allow us to gain an understanding of this rising problem amongst Muslim couples.
