Muslim Sisters of Eire, a Muslim women Irish organisation will hold a multicultural festival in Dublin's Phoenix Park on Thursday, August 4.
The festival will include a variety of activities and attractions for all ages in order to promote integration between Muslim communities and the wider Irish culture.
The family fun day was first held in 2019 and was highly appreciated by all who attended.
Lorraine O'Connor, the organisation's founder:
It's a way for people to come together for a cup of tea and a chat. It's a good way to break down barriers between communities. This year, the focus is on the kids.
We want parents and children from all backgrounds to come along and mix. It will be great to have loads of kids along. They don't see race, colour or religion.
Face painting, clowns, children's entertainment, garden games, henna tattoos, community football, refreshments, artisan booths, and more await parents, children, and families attending the multicultural festival.
