On New Year's Eve, at least 30 tombs were damaged and smashed at a Muslim cemetery in the northwestern German city of Iserlohn.
The authorities have launched an investigation and issued an appeal for information from anyone who witnessed the vandalism or has information that could help them.
In solidarity with the Muslim community, over 300 people, including religious representatives, gathered in the cemetery and denounced the islamophobic act.
