Lubna Shuja is the first Muslim, first Asian, and the seventh female president of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Shuja became a solicitor in 1992. She founded a Legal Swan Solicitors in Birmingham in 2007, where she works as a lone practitioner focusing on professional discipline and regulation. Before setting up her own firm, Shuja had a 14 years experience in a high-street firm in West Yorkshire.
