Enlightened Minds: In Formation

On the 25th February 2017, the Muslim Women's Council held an event titled “Enlightened Minds: In Formation”. This event was open to all women over the age of 16. The session was led by Yasmin Amin, PhD student at University of Exeter’s Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, and Nuzhat Ali, Winner of the Northern Writers Award 2015. Topics such as feminism, culture versus religion and gender ethics were discussed. There were over 100 attendees and this infographic is based on the evaluation forms that were collected.
